Splice teams with GNi to deliver Verizon’s first 10Gigabit high speed ethernet transit designed to scale in fast paced business environments where customers are just a click away.
SAN JOSE, Calif.—April 20, 2007 — Splice Communications, Inc., a Network Solutions Provider (NSP) and Global Netoptex, Inc. and (GNi), a leading provider of customer-centric managed services have teamed together to provide their customers with data solutions that go beyond just bandwidth. Both companies focus on recommending the right strategy for customers to realize significant cost savings while achieving fast access to online services where quick response times need to be instantaneous. Splice implemented Verizon’s first 10Gig Ethernet IP for GNi. GNi invests in their high capacity infrastructure to ensure they remain far ahead of client needs. As a customer-centric organization, GNI wanted a provider that would manage and deliver the service with care and planning to ensure minimal disruption to existing client’s business flow. Both companies worked closely planning with precision the migration of existing services onto the new high speed data network to ensure minimal interruption. This involved phasing the service in over time which required provider flexibility. The new service has significantly increased GNi’s network infrastructure equating to unlimited scalability for customers who rely on GNi for managed services and support.
