From the President:

Working for our Customers

Splice goes to work for our customers. For years Splice employees have lived and breathed telecommunications. It’s what we know best. We focus on providing our customers with exceptional value by providing intelligent solutions at the lowest cost.

Our customers tell us that their ability to choose the best option is critical in the complex world of communications. This is a gritty business and the industry continues to change. Mergers and acquisitions between carrier providers are ongoing. The constant is change. How do organizations thrive in this fast paced marketplace? As many customers know, the Splice team becomes part of their staff, not their payroll. We provide options that enable our clients to make their own choice and then execute on solid ideas that work. We find most businesses are concerned with reliability, availability and value when it comes to their network requirements. Clients do not care to understand the inner-workings of the carrier world. They prefer to have Splice manage and navigate the confusing acronyms and complex processes involved in the telecom industry.

Business communications involves the collaboration of many different services. Data applications continue to explode. IT managers must focus on how to collaborate with both internal and external clients. Over time the idea of a telephone number will be obsolete. Email addresses may be the key for all communications – whether for voice, instant messaging, videoconferencing or email. Communications continues to grow and is shared across various platforms. Examples include the ability to walk into an office with a mobile phone conversation in process, transfer it to an office phone or PC, all without rebuilding the connection. Media, games, video and other applications continue to drive high speed bandwidth requirements for businesses. Another example given by Microsoft is in China. Beijing has employees who must travel throughout the city making inspections. China Mobile realized that by providing a software application that allowed them to report the location, send a picture and then immediately assign the work out to other city employees; they could simplify the process and increase efficiency significantly. In this situation both location and photo information converged into a data application requiring high speed bandwidth that completely changed the work process. You have many similar requirements within your own organizational structure as well.

The time and energy of IT professionals is being consumed by the need to ensure their systems can handle these types of applications needed for their core business to grow and prosper. They don’t have time to deal with the cumbersome and time consuming process of researching, comparing and analyzing the telecommunications requirements essential for their business. Customers inform us that dealing with individual carriers, comparing price and product, and negotiating contracts is unproductive given their internal workload and other priorities.

With Splice as a single source provider, customers are able to focus and capitalize on critical business applications that drive their core business. Customers rely on Splice to work for them by researching, providing options which allow them choice and then managing the implementation process beginning to end. Let us know how we can work for you.

KNOW YOUR OPTIONS.
